Americans Love Independence!

There is nothing more American than celebrating the freedom to govern ourselves.

Our forefathers believed they could govern themselves better than a king who lived thousands of miles away, waged war on their private properties, and turned a blind eye to their needs. They were willing to fight and die to secure their God-given freedoms and liberties. A resistance to being unjustly ruled has united Americans from the beginning.

There is nothing more American than celebrating the freedom to govern ourselves. Americans love our independence and most stand united in a belief in God, family and country, and the simple idea of personal freedoms. It’s a right we should all cherish.  

Idahoans share this same love of independence. Here in the Gem State, we cherish what our forefathers fought for — self-governance, freedoms, vast natural resources, and endless opportunities. We also oppose being told what to do by authority thousands of miles away.

Idaho Freedom Caucus members are committed to passing on the torch of our founders by continuing to fight for liberty, sovereignty, and self-governance that our forefathers secured nearly 250 years ago.
