Every day, children throughout the nation are taught that an unborn baby is just a clump of cells. Far too many students come out of high school believing that a fetus is not a human being, but some sort of parasite, a tumor that can be removed and destroyed with no consequences.
We believe there is an agenda behind this misinformation. The abortion lobby and its friends in the teacher’s union want to keep the children of Idaho ignorant about the truth. They know that women who understand that the life growing inside them is a baby, with little hands, little feet, a little face, and a little heartbeat, are far less likely to support elective abortion.
That’s why Idaho Freedom Caucus co-chairs Sen. Tammy Nichols and Rep. Heather Scott carried Senate Bill 1046, requiring age-appropriate instruction on human development. Students will see ultrasound videos and scientifically accurate animations showing the stages of human growth, ensuring that they understand the truth about preborn children.
S1046 passed both the Senate and the House, and even some Democrats voted in favor of this common-sense bill. It now awaits Governor Brad Little’s signature to become the law of the land.
This bill supports the core principles of the Idaho Freedom Caucus, that human beings, even in the womb, are not disposable, but are created in the image of God.
Let Idaho be known as a place where all life is valued and protected.
Bill 1046 a long overdue return to lessons we used to learn.
Let’s bring age related and detailed US Constitution curriculum, not just one day in September. Alongside that a comparative to communism. Kids need to be very aware of the difference.
Doing a wonderful work. Don’t give in not even an inch.
Have DOGE come in like Florida. No property tax just income to pay. Thanks, Marty
