Thank you!
The Idaho Freedom Caucus extends our heartfelt gratitude to every one of our donors for their incredible generosity during our September fundraiser. With over 200 individual contributions, your support will help our efforts to elect freedom and liberty candidates to the Idaho legislature.
Your donations have not only raised thousands of dollars but have also paved the way for an even more significant impact. We received a substantial matching contribution from a dedicated donor deeply committed to safeguarding and preserving Idaho's freedoms.
We sincerely thank you for your trust in our cause as we continue to fight for the principles of freedom and liberty.
Idaho Freedom Caucus members are always working to preserve and promote your freedoms and liberties. Check out these major recent wins:
A Stand for the Second Amendment: In a pivotal moment in our ongoing efforts to protect our Second Amendment rights, the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee proudly passed a resolution to establish Kootenai County as a Second Amendment Sanctuary County.
Property Tax Relief: Idaho Freedom Caucus members were pivotal in passing House Bill 292, which promises significant annual savings. Surplus state tax revenues will automatically contribute to property tax relief instead of government expansion. This year, Idahoans will see $317.4 million in property tax relief, primarily benefiting homeowners with savings on their total bills ranging from 10% to 25%. Local public school districts will receive a share of this relief, reducing the burden on taxpayers for various levies. This win-win is thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Freedom Caucus.
Election Integrity: House Bill 124, sponsored by Senator Scott Herndon, eliminated the use of student ID cards as a valid form of voter identification because of their lack of uniformity. The bill successfully passed, and the lawsuit from "Babe Vote" was dismissed by the District Court in Ada County.
Exit from the Woke American Library Association: With the support of Idaho Freedom Caucus member Representative Tony Wisniewski, the majority of the Kootenai County Community Library Network Trustees have agreed in principle to sever all ties with the American Library Association, which is led by a known Marxist. The formal adoption of the resolution will take place at their next meeting later this month. This move will help ensure our libraries remain focused on the best interests of our community and on protecting young minds.
Presidential Primary: The Idaho Freedom Caucus led the push to restore the presidential primary back to a March voting date, aiming to address a problem caused by the Legislature and the governor. However, their efforts did not succeed, so to ensure Idahoans’ voices are heard in selecting our next president, the Idaho GOP will hold a caucus on March 2, 2024, instead.
These achievements offer a glimpse of what we can achieve together. With your continued support, we will accomplish even more. Thank you for being an essential part of this effort to safeguard and enhance our cherished freedoms.
