Victory

The members of the Idaho Freedom Caucus are thrilled with Tuesday night's election results. It was a great night for America, for Idaho, and for all families.

Donald Trump’s victory is already being called the greatest comeback in American history, and reflects the hopes and dreams of millions of Americans to restore a safe and prosperous nation. It also signals a rejection of divisive politics, of demonizing people based on gender, race, or religion, or of a culture of victimhood.

We are especially pleased that Idaho decisively rejected Proposition 1 and also voted to uphold the sanctity of our elections by ensuring that only citizens can vote. This, along with further Republican gains across Idaho, demonstrates that our state is indeed growing more conservative.

We are energized by these results and will work hard to honor the trust the people of Idaho have placed in us through their votes.
