When Pigs Fly: KTVB Surprises with Fair Idaho Election Coverage

Lying attack ads exposed

Sometimes, it seems pigs might fly.

Conservatives are rightly skeptical of mainstream media, which often leans left—even in conservative areas like Idaho. Boise’s local news on KTVB Channel 7, especially “The 208”, is no exception.

However, it's important to give credit where it's due. Recently, KTVB's Andrew Baertlein did a commendable job covering the misleading attack ads targeting conservative senators in Canyon County. These ads falsely label Senators Brian Lenney, Tammy Nichols, and Chris Trakel as California liberals intent on defunding the police and abandoning our veterans. It was both surprising and refreshing to see “The 208” challenge these deceitful claims, something we aren’t used to seeing from KTVB.
