Forward March: Idaho's Conservative Legislators Take the Helm
Remember when we told you about the top 30 conservative legislators in Idaho?
You should be proud to know that all members of our Idaho Freedom Caucus are not only the most conservative in our state, but in the entire nation! Check out this graph of American Conservative Union scores for public members of freedom caucuses in America.
Every member of our Idaho Freedom Caucus scored a perfect 100, making Idaho the cream of the crop.
We’re proud of those scores, not for our own sake, but because they came about through hard work and devotion to the conservative principles we share.
We passed many solid conservative bills through the Legislature last year, including House Bill 710, the bill to keep porn out of the hands of children at our libraries, House Bill 668, blocking taxpayer funding for transgender surgeries, hormone therapies and puberty blockers, and House Bill 498, which requires porn websites to verify age and prohibits the online distribution of porn to children.
Idaho Freedom Caucus members were also instrumental in transforming our state’s budgeting process, which should pay dividends in the years to come in the form of tighter budgets and more money going back to the taxpayers who earned it.
We will not rest on our past successes though, because there’s much more we need to do! Over the next few months we will be unveiling our vision for the 2025 legislative session including priorities like universal school choice, dismantling DEI, securing true health freedom, state sovereignty, and continuing to rein in out-of-control spending.
When conservatives stand together, we cannot be stopped, which is what the Idaho Freedom Caucus is all about. We’re ready to work with anyone who is willing to support conservative government in the coming year.
