Senator Lenney! Fiscal responsibility is a word these Rhinos Republicans are clueless about 💯 %. I just want you to know your article and strong stand to replace “the old crony guard” is so very inspiring and gives hope to a brighter Idaho future of fiscal integrity w/o the Feds.

Also I am closely following other bills relating to public school budgeting and funding.

The insanity of a school district 241 whose lack of responsible goals to fund core Education for public school children, and placing more focus on bloated administrative and “sports” wants is so infuriating. Last 3 levies failed and now the board voted for a 2 year levy for $3.1 mil x2.

The most egregious issues about these bloated school district levies is “TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION”. In other words, any, Tom, Dick or Harry can vote on a two year 6.2 million Levy, but only property owners foot the Bill.$$$

The elderly are at risk who are already pinching pennies in their homes, already faced with city bond taxes for the water system, increase garbage and water bills, increasing grocery prices, etc. then the School District wants to add an additional $199 per $100k of assessed value to an already bloated tax burden.

We did finally get one super awesome conservative School District professional on the Board of MVSD 241 (Jon Menough who also serves as the vice chair of the central Republican committee), but the rest are Rhinos with same goals just like the state level old guard. Spend spend spend on frivolous crap, and not the proper educational goals for children.

Anyway, I wanted to chime in that I super appreciate your position and your fight for more physical responsibility in Idaho. Thank you very much.

Last sentence should say: Fiscal responsibility not “physical”. 😆
