Watched the video. This is appalling. It used to be in other states. Now it's here. This must stop. When kids see this is allowed in in the library, they think it's not off limits.

Thank you for fighting the good fight. So, have to wait till next session to stop this?

Question: What is the definition of adult?

I have seen inappropriate books labeled as adult at age 14.

You're doing God's work. Please continue, as you represent the majority, who have been largely shunned or silenced for their traditional and moral views. Thank you and Godspeed!

The same issue arose with the very same type of books — including “Let’s Talk About It “ — in a local district library (not a school library). The library director offered many of the standard American Library Association objections to a simple solution and this particular book remains in the catalog as an e-book. From correspondence…

Proposed Solution:

Unfortunately, the books listed above advance questionable science, demote family values, and promote ideas considered by many to harm human life and society.

For these reasons, we respectfully request both of the following actions for all books of concern, including the ones specifically listed above and others that are similar:

1. Move these books to a separate area of the library.

2. Place on these books a highly visible external sticker with a "Parental Guidance" notice.

This solution can ensure the free-speech First Amendment constitutional rights we all cherish while alerting readers and especially parents about potentially concerning subject matter.
