Navigating the world of politics often feels like trekking through a complex maze.
There’s no playbook and usually no rules either. Personalities, power, and propaganda frequently collide, and those who participate must decide each day how to move forward with setting and achieving common goals. Past experiences often become the most valuable teacher.
The great German statesman Otto von Bismarck called politics “the art of the possible.” Our job as conservative representatives of the people is not to amplify our egos, generate the most clicks/likes on social media, or embarrass our political opponents. Our job is to govern — to pass legislation that expands freedom and liberty for the people of Idaho and to stop legislation that constricts it.
The Idaho Freedom Caucus has grown from its humble beginnings namely through experiences. When our Caucus started in 2017, there were only a small handful of legislators fighting day in and day out for conservative principles. Today, that number has increased significantly. Conservative legislators are very close to a solid majority in the House and Senate. These same conservative members are the core of the Idaho Freedom Caucus and we are ready to take the legislative lead in Idaho.
For seven years, we’ve asked the voters of Idaho for more conservative lawmakers and a stronger voice in our government. Now that the voters have delivered, it’s time to lead. The Idaho Freedom Caucus is growing and evolving, and stands ready to be the leading voice in the Idaho Legislature.
We’re excited about the possibilities before us in the upcoming 2025 session and we can’t wait to share them with you. In the meantime, we need your help. If you want to stay in the loop, please subscribe to this newsletter for regular updates in the coming months and share it with your friends and neighbors.
This will help spread the word that there is a growing movement for freedom and liberty in our state and that the Idaho Freedom Caucus plans to lead the charge!

And remember that our Declaration of Independence (2nd para) sets forth five "self-evident Truths" which are our Founding Principles: one of these Truths is that the purpose of government is to secure the Rights God gave us. https://publiushuldah.wordpress.com/2014/12/01/how-our-federal-constitution-secures-our-god-given-rights/
