Never in the history of governments has legislation ever expanded freedom and liberty. Legislation, by it's nature can only restrict freedom and liberty.
My rights come from God and liberty comes thru Jesus Christ not thru any governmental entity.
So, you think legislation only restricts? What about the laws that ended segregation or secured voting rights? Those didn’t restrict freedom, they kicked down barriers. And if your freedom only comes from above, why bother with any laws at all? Seems like you’re picking and choosing when government suits you and dismissing it when it doesn’t. Real freedom includes everyone, and sometimes, that requires laws to set things right.
