Something bad happened there in Scott Herndon's district...
Thank goodness, District 8 unelected three of the least conservative representatives and senator and will replace them with some sterling folks, including the tried and true Christy Zito.
I believe it was by less than 400 votes... Woodward said all the right things as if he was conservative but, his voting record was solidly Democrat. And his smear campaign of Scott apparently convinced enough innocent, simple minded people to swing the vote.
The lie and smear campaign clearly worked with apathetic and low-information voters. It also may have benefited from Democrat cross-over voters and mail-in ballots, which could have swung the vote in Woodward's favor.
Scott Herndon ran an honest campaign. He communicated often and clearly.
If voters had bothered to check his website, they would have seen the following:
Just want you to know I'm disappointed that 3 of the best decided to resign from IFC. I hope you get your priorities Right, and that EGOS diminish, so that the IFC can be the Conservative Fighting Force that Idaho needs. I agree with the premise that people will give when they see the good you are doing. I and some others recently gave a good donation to IFC, which I would NOT have given if the resignations came before. And FYI, I will give Nothing to anything that Ed H. is involved with.
I am grieved that there is a problem, as I have admired and trusted the IFC as being the best of the best. I sincerely hope that wounds can be healed and that the IFC becomes a winning force for freedom in Idaho.
There are always struggles and hiccups in every group. We will get through this and grow stronger. We are united in our vision and plans to help Idaho become the freest state in the union! Thank you for caring, and being involved!
Scott Herdon is my choice. Unfortunately we elected a Democrat running as a Republican...

Uninformed voters are the problem. We Conservatives need to up the efforts in informing people.
Excellent reourse - thank you!

The Idaho Freedom Caucus is not for everyone. We're still here, still fighting, and still working with fellow conservatives, no matter their path.

Since the IFC is a group of people, who answers for the group? Who wrote this answer?
Usually someone who sees it first:)
